The eye-catching Caravaggio P3 Pendant were launched in 2005 and instantaneously gained a status as a design icon. With Caravaggio, designer Cecilie Man combines a recognisable shape with a modern expression. The simple, timeless pendant consists of a metal shade with soft, feminine lines held by a chrome-plated metal suspension. The textile cable is particularly well integrated into the design and gives the lamp its finishing touch. The Caravaggio lamp casts a concentrated downward light whilst also illuminating both the suspension and the cable through a hole at the top of the lamp. The depth of the shade prevents glare.

With Caravaggio™ Opal, Cecilie Manz has combined the characteristic design with a completely different lighting effect. The opal glass shade emits a soft, dimmed light, which is particularly suitable for rooms where a more evocative lighting is required. The lamp is suspended by the three well-known shackles, which here form a raw and masculine contrast to the feminine opal hand-blown glass.

The completely matt finish adds a rare depth and tangibility and imbuing it with a warm, cosy feel. The delicate black, white and two grey tones are carefully balanced and interact elegantly with each other. The new tones from 2018 have their roots in nature’s earthy hues: warm silk, archipelago stone, dark sienna and dark ultramarine. The discreet tones are timeless and suit more-or-less all settings.
