The scheme was developed to support the clean contemporary design of the houses while helping them feel welcoming and easy to live in. From the street, soft lighting behind the large areas of glazing creates a warm glow in the evening, giving the homes a calm and inviting presence while highlighting the rhythm of the façade, brickwork and landscaped entrance areas.

Inside, the lighting is layered to suit the different ways each space is used throughout the day. In the kitchen, dining and living areas, a mix of discreet downlights, track lighting, pendants, wall lights and concealed LED details provides practical light where it is needed, while adding softness and atmosphere in the evening. Feature lighting is used carefully within joinery, shelving, ceiling details and bar areas to highlight materials such as timber, stone, fabric and textured wall finishes.
