LD44X Uplight

The LD44X Uplight is a compact recessed LED fitting developed for demanding interior and exterior architectural applications. Designed as part of the LD44 family, it builds on the proven LD42 and LD43 platforms with a robust construction, low-glare optical system and enhanced suitability for harsh environments. The optics are recessed by 10mm to reduce glare, while optional glare shields can reduce the aperture by 45% or 70% for greater visual comfort and more controlled illumination.

Engineered with a hard anodised aluminium body and machined 316 stainless steel bezel, the LD44X Uplight offers excellent durability together with an IP68 rating. Its replaceable NICHIA C1 LED engine is available in 1.2W, 1.7W and 2.4W versions, delivering up to approximately 180 lumens at 700mA. An optional 20° tilt film allows the beam to be focused more precisely onto the lit surface, while the anti-wicking barrier and exterior-rated two-core sheathed cable make the fitting particularly well suited to exterior uplighting, pathways, steps, wall washing and yacht applications.Available with Orluna’s Origin and Origin Natural light engines, the Alta Zero offers high-quality colour rendering alongside 2700K, 3000K and 4000K colour temperature options. It can be specified in IP54 or IP67, with the IP67 version incorporating robust protection for demanding exterior installations, while premium bezel finishes include stainless steel, anodised, bronze, brass and selected RAL options. As part of Orluna’s Beautifully Lit range, its light quality and colour are designed to coordinate seamlessly with other fittings throughout a complete architectural lighting scheme.
