Aaro Table Lamp is a sculptural table light designed by Simon Schmitz, defined by fluid movement and perfect balance. Built around a spherical joint, it moves effortlessly in all directions, creating the impression of a floating, wind-driven object. Poetic, precise and quietly magical, it brings motion and calm to contemporary interiors.

Aaro Table Lamp began with a single idea: movement. Designer Simon Schmitz sought to create the most fluid gesture possible, which naturally led him to the sphere. As a joint, the sphere has no hierarchy—no left or right, no top or bottom—allowing unrestricted motion. With the sphere as its defining element, every aspect of the lamp revolves around it: geometry, balance and friction all converge to highlight this central point.
The result is a lamp that appears to move effortlessly, as if guided by air rather than mechanics. Like planets orbiting one another, the elements of Aaro revolve around their centre in quiet harmony. Inspired by Aaron’s rod, Aaro carries a sense of illusion and levitation—an object that feels both engineered and enchanted.
