The Fluo Pendant Light, designed by Arturo Álvarez, is a delicate and ethereal creation formed from veils of painted galvanised steel mesh gathered gracefully around a single light source. Its airy structure mimics the appearance of semi-transparent tulle—revealing and concealing in equal measure—inviting the viewer’s imagination to interpret its shifting forms.
Handmade with meticulous attention to detail, the Fluo pendant won the Good Design Award in 2009. Its light, floating presence is particularly striking when used in larger compositions, where multiple pendants combine to create a soft, atmospheric installation.
