Here Comes The Sun 250 Pendant Light was designed in August 1970 by architect Bertrand Balas, inspired by watching the sun set over the Garonne river in Toulouse. To Balas, this daily ritual was restorative—something that “does you good.” That feeling became the foundation of the lamp’s design: a simple form capable of producing an emotional response through light alone.
At first glance, the pendant appears quietly sculptural, almost restrained. But once illuminated, it reveals its true character. Light spills gently from its lower opening, softening the surrounding darkness and transforming it into something calm and reassuring. More than an object, Here Comes The Sun 250 is an experience—one that brings warmth, comfort and quiet poetry into living spaces, dining areas and intimate interiors.
