Lampe C Wall Light

Lampe C Wall Light draws on the long history of chandeliers, from early iron and wood structures to the crystal and Murano glass masterpieces that once illuminated castles, operas and grand residences. At the dawn of the 20th century, electric light transformed these objects through pioneers such as J&L Lobmeyr working alongside Thomas Edison. In 2025, Thierry Dreyfus revisits this lineage with a radical reinterpretation for the wall.

Retaining the iconic outline of the most classic chandeliers, Lampe C replaces glass and crystal with approximately 6,400 stainless steel chain links. Light bounces endlessly across their reflective surfaces, creating a cascade of luminous droplets that shimmer with movement and depth. Exceptional in both concept and execution, this “chandelier in chains” perpetuates the enduring magic of light at its most beautiful, offering a striking statement for refined interiors.
