IVY V Pendant Light

The IVY V Pendant Light is a minimalist, geometric luminaire defined by a sleek ring suspended on double cables, which power a custom LED module. Designed for flexibility, it responds to the growing demand in modern architecture and restoration projects for lighting that can be freed from a fixed ceiling point. Its form draws inspiration from nature, with cables that can be arranged to mimic climbing ivy, creating layered compositions that frame and highlight features within a space. The design also nods to the elegance of jewellery, with the ring recalling a wedding band suspended like a pendant, its simple yet refined shape embodying timeless appeal.

In the IVY V configuration, the double cable forms a distinctive “V” shape, running from the canopy to an anchoring point anywhere in the room. This allows users to create dynamic, multi-point arrangements using Lodes’ multiple canopies, accommodating up to 6 or 12 pendants. The ring, made from die-cast zinc alloy, is available in matte black, extra-matte champagne, and terra finishes, while the black cable provides a clean contrast. Light is directed downward through a precisely engineered methacrylate diffuser, producing a smooth, rounded beam. More than just a light, IVY V acts as a piece of spatial architecture, with its cables and form serving as a graphic element that defines and enhances the environment.
