The LD242A Wall Light is a compact, high-performance recessed LED fitting designed specifically for swimming pool steps, wet areas and underwater architectural lighting. Featuring a polished and passivated 316 stainless steel bezel, it is engineered to withstand demanding pool and marine environments while maintaining a clean, minimal appearance with no visible fixings. A choice of beam angles and colour temperatures allows the lighting effect to be tailored for steps, floor washing and underwater feature illumination.
Rated IP68 for submersion up to 2 metres, the LD242A uses a replaceable NICHIA C1 LED engine available in 1.2W, 1.7W and 2.4W versions, with a typical CRI of 93 at 3000K. The fitting is mechanically sealed and serviceable, with an integral anti-wicking moisture barrier and reverse polarity protection for added reliability. Installation options include a first-fix sleeve with O-rings or an optional concrete housing, while 0-10V, DMX, DALI and mains dimmable drivers are available. An optional glare shield can also be specified for improved visual comfort.
