LD56 Uplight

The LD56 Uplight is a compact recessed LED fitting designed to deliver high-performance architectural illumination from a remarkably shallow 42mm recess depth. Its deeply recessed optics help minimise glare while maintaining excellent beam quality, with narrow, medium, wide and oval distributions available to suit a variety of lighting effects. Exceptionally versatile, the LD56 can be used for recessed uplighting, wall washing, steps, bathrooms, yacht lighting and even as a downlight, making it a strong choice for both interior and exterior schemes.

Built for demanding environments, the LD56 Uplight features a 316 stainless steel bezel, hard anodised aluminium body and 5mm borosilicate glass with black ceramic screen printing. It uses a replaceable NICHIA C1 LED engine, available in 1.2W at 350mA, 1.7W at 500mA or 2.4W at 700mA, and carries an IP68 rating for robust protection against dust and water ingress. A choice of spring clips, fixing sleeve or ground tube provides installation flexibility, while the fitting is available in a wide range of machined metal and painted finishes for integration into premium residential, hospitality and marine projects.
