The Konoha Wall Light a meticulously designed creation by renowned designers George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg. For this dynamic duo, design is all about storytelling, and the Konoha Wall Light is no exception. This twin-function wall lamp not only tells a story but also provides the perfect lighting possibilities for any environment.
Yabu Pushelberg understands that lighting is an intimate element in any space, greatly affecting our emotions. Taking this into account, they have carefully analysed various variables to create a thoughtful, functional, and purposeful design.
Recognising the redundancy of lighting in hotel rooms, the design studio has designed the Konoha Wall Light to fulfil the need for both direct and ambient light in one single design. This simple and discreet wall lamp features a shade over a directed spotlight that can rotate a full 360°.
When the shade covers the spotlight, an upward-directed beam of soft light is created. It bounces off the inside of the shade, resulting in warm ambient lighting that fills the space. Alternatively, when the spotlight is focused downward, a beam of direct light is emitted, transforming the fixture into a practical reading lamp.
The Konoha design is available in a range of colours, offering neutral and organic shades that seamlessly blend into any setting. It can serve as a reading lamp in waiting rooms, bedrooms, or hotels. Alternatively, it can be utilised as a point of light in walkways, a wall lamp in restaurants, or even to bring ambient lighting to hotel entrances.
