Featuring two parallel disks connected by a slender metal tube at their centers, Dot's smaller bottom disk is crafted from turned aluminum, housing an LED ring meticulously engineered to project abundant light onto the larger top diffuser disk, made of lacquered aluminum.
The high-powered LED source emits substantial heat, efficiently managed by a specially designed heat sink (borrowed from aerospace technology) situated within the thin tube connecting the disks. This heat sink serves to thermally link the LED circuit to a dissipator housed in the top disk, ensuring optimal heat dispersion.
When illuminated, Dot transforms into a slender, weightless disk seemingly suspended in the air, emitting an encompassing flux of light that eliminates shadows, creating an inviting ambience.
Available in three distinct diameters and power ratings—ø60cm (23W), ø80cm (41W), ø110cm (55W)—Dot offers versatility to suit various spaces. It presents two finishes: anodized black and anodized brass, catering to diverse preferences in design and style.
