The Buds 1 Table Lamp epitomises sophisticated elegance and luxury, crafted with prized materials. Its standout feature is the elongated blown glass diffuser, created through meticulous five-layer processing, which exudes a glossy finish. This exquisite glass element is paired with a transparent base, further enhancing the lamp's refined design.
Designed to provide diffused light, the hand-blown cased glass diffuser boasts a pale, straw-yellow internal layer, enriching the warmth and intensity of the light. The "warm white" version of the lamp appears ivory when illuminated and retains a white hue when switched off, adding versatility to its aesthetic appeal.
The base is constructed from a transparent PMMA cylinder, precision-milled with a pattern and hand-polished to a mirror finish. It is covered with a transparent anti-static protective film to maintain its pristine condition. The glass diffuser is securely fastened to the base with a cup-shaped ring nut, and an ON/OFF switch is conveniently located on the transparent electrical cable, which exits through an oblique groove in the base.
To preserve the base, it is packaged in a customised pouch made from scratch-resistant material, which can also be used for cleaning. Given the prominent aperture of the glass, the light bulb is visible and contributes to the lamp's overall aesthetic. Therefore, it is recommended to use a retrofit LED or fluorescent light bulb with a white globe, 12 cm in diameter for Buds 1 and 2, and 9 cm for Buds 3.
